My name is Michelle – I’m a proud mom of three adorable kiddos and thankful to be married to Dear Hubby – who keeps this handful of a woman sane and laughing (mostly). I live in Colorado where the sun (almost) always shines, the (craft) beer is always cold and you’re never far from a good hunk of (grass-fed) beef.
I started this blog to offer you, dear reader, a small corner of the internet where life can be celebrated in a space free from the darker aspects that seem to have crept into life as a citizen of social media. I do my best to keep the posts snark-free, apolitical, non-religious, and focus on that which is good and beautiful and true in life – but with substance and thoughtfulness. Which means that you probably won’t be seeing funny cat videos (but, hey, never say never).
For me, Living Blissfully means celebrating where I am in life right now, today. And in this season of life that means finding joy in the high-energy and sometimes mundane tasks that come with having a young family. So while you’ll see lots of posts about food and hospitality and the beauty of community, you’ll also see posts about me trying to find excellence in packing my kids’ lunches and building a family library. Over time, this will change. Someday my kids will all be in school and I can finally take that French class that I’ve always wanted to take and you’ll start seeing posts with berets and croissants (food – always food!). But for now, pull up a chair and enjoy my Blissful little corner of the internet.
